Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities Quarterly Council Meeting

The members of the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities meet on a quarterly basis to learn about what is happening in Georgia and around the nation for people with developmental disabilities and their families. During these meetings, members spend time discussing best or promising practices, hearing from projects funded by GCDD, and conducting business to be an effective and efficient organization.
The GCDD hosts and sponsors multiple events throughout the year. The events are defined by the agency’s five year strategic plan and legislative agenda. The events, five year strategic plan and legislative agenda are aligned with the agency’s signature program, “The Real Communities Initiative” and its five focus areas: Real Careers, Real Homes, Real Learning, Real Influence and Real Supports.
